Certified Medical Assistant (Contract) – Elgin, IL Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week Contract Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2+ year of Phlebotomy experience 1+ year of experience in ANY of the following: Primary Care Managed Care Care Management Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential Valid BLS certification from ARC BLS or AHA BLS Overview This full-time contract CMA role offers a stable weekly schedule with no weekends or on-call duties . Candidates with strong clinical and administrative skills, EPIC EMR experience, and excellent patient communication are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical and administrative duties as a Certified Medical Assistant Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient records Conduct phlebotomy procedures Deliver patient-centered care with strong communication skills Support daily primary care operations and workflow Schedule & Shift Details Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 1-hour lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM 1-hour lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM No weekends or on-call requirements Languages Bilingual candidates are a plus
