About the position
Job Summary The Financial Reporting Supervisor is in charge of supervising, coaching and monitoring the financial reporting staff. Responsible for ensuring that all transactions are timely, accurately and properly recorded for purposes of maintaining the books of accounts of the assigned entities. Duties and Responsibilities Financial reporting · Accounting - Ensures that all transactions with accounting relevance are timely and properly recorded in the books. · Provides various reports showing relevant financial information on a regular basis or as required by Management or government agencies. · Support the other department to achieve their goals in alignment to financial goals and internal controls. Perform additional tasks assigned from time to time when necessary. 2. Supervision Supervising, coaching and monitoring of the financial reporting team to ensure compliance to set policies and procedures. Guide and train subordinates for better performance of the group. Ensures that compliance and coordination is in place but not limited to the following: · External auditor for the timely release of Audited FS. · Internal departments and / or external groups, whenever necessary, for the smooth performance of duties, responsibilities and functions. · Assistance to Tax Team for any BIR related requirements and proper dispositions of tax assessments. 3. File maintenance and record keeping · Manage the filing and documents archiving of financial reporting related files, for audit substantiation · Checking and ensuring documents is properly labelled and safe keep. Technical Competencies and Skills knowledgeable in microsoft office applications Education, Trainings and Licenses Required preferably CPA and with financial reporting background
