Occupational Therapist (Full-Time) Company: Hands of Hope Physical Therapy Location: 1021 Bedford Ave Brooklyn NY, 11205 Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year (Based on Experience) Position Summary Hands of Hope Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to improve functional independence and daily living skills. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, fine motor skills, cognition, and activities of daily living (ADLs). Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate EMR documentation. Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Comply with HIPAA and professional practice standards. Qualifications Required Active New York State Occupational Therapist License. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Strong communication and clinical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Outpatient rehabilitation experience. Experience with orthopedic, neurological, or post-surgical patients. CPR/BLS Certification.
