Staff Auditor

Staff Auditor Location: San Rafael, CA Work Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 days remote Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Auditor to manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from start to finish. You will work directly with clients, manage complex projects independently, and contribute to delivering high-quality assurance services. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen your audit expertise while building strong, lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities Execute and finalize audit, review, and compilation engagements with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage client relationships and build trust through professional, collaborative partnerships. Organize and manage your schedule and client files efficiently while working independently. Support special projects and address client needs as they arise. Maintain high-quality work and meet engagement deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA eligible and meeting the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam. 5+ years of experience in accounting and GAAP compliance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
