Remote Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Remote Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing team. This is a part-time, fully remote position starting at 16 hours per week , with a competitive annual salary of $155,000–$165,000 . The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable management experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Responsibilities Oversee and manage the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Review, verify, and approve invoices and employee expense reports. Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable payment terms when appropriate. Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting to ensure payment obligations are met on time. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of the accounts payable function. Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses related to accounts payable. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be currently employed at the time of application.
